Woe Is Me
June 29, 2026
"Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts." Isaiah 6:5
All of us should desire to be in the presence of The Lord, it is in His presence where we find joy, peace, and love. It is in the presence of God where we feel like there is nothing that can touch us, because He surrounds us. It is also in the presence of God where we cannot pretend to be something we are not. We can fool people into thinking we have it all together, but God knows us. The Scripture reminds us that when Isaiah came into the presence of God he said, Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of host. I encourage you today to remember God knows who you are. God knows all about you and when you come into his presence you cannot pretend. When you come before His presence you cannot act like you have it all together, because the power of His presence will not allow it. There is power when you come into the presence of God, and there is something so special about being in that place with God. When are in the presence of god no matter what is going on around you, you know that everything is going to be alright. When you press your way to be in the presence of God, you know that things are gokng to change for your good and for God’s glory. No matter what is that I am going through I am determined to press my way to get into His presence. Woe is me, but now I am in His presence and He has changed my life. Since I have been changed by God, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for allowing me to be in your presence. As sinful as I am I find forgiveness and joy in your presence. Thank you for never giving up on me and seeing something in me that you can use. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
