Walking Worthy

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;" Colossians 1:10

Often times in life we will try to please everyone, because we do not like to let anyone down. If we say we are going to do something we will do all we can to get is done. In our walk with God we need to make sure we do everything in our power to please Him. The same way we would do anything for people, we must do the same thing for The Lord. The Scripture reminds us, that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. I encourage you today to ensure you are walking in a way pleasing unto the Lord. When you do your best to make sure your ways please The Lord, and the things you do bring glory to Him, then The Lord is pleased with you. When you walk worthy unto The Lord and pleasing unto Him, then you will be fruitful in every good work you put your hands to. When you set out to do something and you put The Lord first, He will make sure your endeavors are fruitful. Do all you can to know God more and better each day. Study His Word, pray and seek Him for all things, and you will soon discover that The Lord will bless what you do for Him. I am going to walk worthy and pleasing unto Him, and make sure that I get to know Him more and more each day. Since I am walking with Him, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I want to walk worthy of the calling you have placed on my life. I want all that I do to please you so you can get the glory. Help me to walk right so that others may see your goodness and follow you in all they do. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
