Walk By Faith
September 16, 2026
“for we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)
We have all heard the saying that seeing is believing and for many people they will not believe anything until they see it, and for others they will not believe some things even if they see it. It is easy to walk in the light and not trip over things because we can visibly see where we are going. It is more difficult to walk in the dark in unfamiliar places and not trip or bump into anything while we try to navigate in the dark. When we have faith in God, we know that we are going to have to navigate some spaces that we have never been in before, but we know that God will lead and guide us in familiar and unfamiliar places. The Scripture reminds us that, for we walk by faith, not by sight. I encourage you today to have unwavering and unshakeable faith in God. You may not always see where God is leading you, but you can always trust that He will lead and guide you to your destiny. Where you are now may not be where you thought you would be, but trust God that He has you right where He wants you to be. Where you are now may not look like what God has spoken for your life, but your faith informs you that you are closer every day to your destiny because of your faith in God. Walk by faith and remember that God will never steer you wrong. Every day I am walking by faith and not by what I see. Even when what I see does not match what God said, I still trust Him to keep walking in the path He has designed for me. I know that as I walk by faith and not by sight my path will grow brighter and clearer every day. Since I am determined to walk by faith and not by sight, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord, lead and guide me in the paths that you have designed and desire for me to walk in. Help me to not walk only by what I see, but help me to walk in faith knowing that you are always with me. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
