Wait The Right Way

“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14

We are living in a fast-paced society. We receive information in seconds in the palm of our hands through our phones and other devices. We have a variety of fast foods that can be done in minutes when we put them in a microwave. Since we live in a right now society it becomes increasingly difficult to wait on things. Waiting is excruciating for some and others refuse to wait at all and will move on to something else rather than wait for what they really want. However, when we are waiting on The Lord it should never be a chore or something that is painful, we know that The Lord will come through for us and waiting on Him is more than just sitting around doing nothing. The Scripture reminds us that Job said, if a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. I encourage you today to wait on The Lord until your change comes. When you wait on The Lord you just don’t sit around and wait for God to show up for you. You serve Him while you wait. You praise and worship Him while you wait. You don’t sit down as a person with no hope. Waiting on The Lord is not depressing, but refreshing because you know that The Lord will come through for you. In all my appointed time, I am determined to wait on The Lord because I know that He will fulfill every promise that He has made to me. Since I will wait on The Lord with enthusiasm, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, as I wait I will not sit down and do nothing. I will praise, worship, and serve you because I know that you will come through for me. Thank you Lord for being the promise keeper and for always making a way for me. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
