Pray About It

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6

We have all heard the song, "Don't Worry Be Happy." In a perfect world we would all love not to worry about anything and just be happy about everything. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world, there are going to be times we worry. Life has a way of taking us through challenges, and there are times when those challenges can cause us to worry about how we are going to make it through and out. In this current economic climate we are in, many are concerned about how they are going to pay for everyday needs. The Scripture reminds us do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. I encourage you today not to worry about things you cannot change, and pray about everything. Instead of spending countless hours worrying, take it to The Lord in prayer. There is not one thing you face in life you cannot pray about. There is not one storm, problem, or trouble that comes your way, you cannot talk to The Lord about. There are going to be times when you will worry, but in the moment that worry starts sets in, you should begin to pray and thank God, and let God know all about what is on your heart. God will be there with you and keep you through it all. Don't Worry Be Happy may not be reality most of the time, but when worry sets in remember prayer will change your situation every time. When worry come into my life instead of being anxious I will pray and let God work it out for me. I am thankful God still hears my silent tears, and since He still hears and answers me, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, you know everything that I am facing. You know my today and my tomorrow, and I am giving it all to you. Thank you Lord for hearing me when I pray. Thank you for answering me when I pray. Instead of worrying and fearing about what I am facing, I will pray and give it you, because I know you will work it all out for my good and your glory. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
