No Comparison

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Romans 8:18

There are going to be times when we go through a rough period. There are going to be times of ups and downs, and we will have our share of adversities, circumstances and situations. If we are living for Christ there is going to be no way around the fact we are going to have to go through some things. People will not always treat us right no matter how well we treat them. There are also going to be times when we are going to suffer, and it is going to feel like the worst thing we ever had to go through, but we have to remember God is with us. The Scripture reminds us that, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. I encourage you today even if you are going through to hold on to God's unchanging hand and never let go. God will see you through all the heartaches, pains, sufferings and disappointments in life. There are times when you have to go through what you are going through so you will be able to see the glory of The Lord revealed in your life. God will not allow you to go through for nothing, He is taking you through this to bring you out a better person and one who will totally trust and believe in Him no matter what. I thank God for every day for every experience He has allowed me to have because I know they brought me closer to where The Lord wants me to be and more importantly, one step closer to Him. What I am going through now cannot even compare to what God is going to do in me and for me, that is why I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for everything you have seen me through. Thank you for holding my hand in the darkest chapter of my life and thank you for seeing me when I thought no one saw me. I know that what I go through cannot be compared to what you have prepared for me, so I thank you and praise you in advance for all the great things you have prepared for me. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name amen.
