New Every Day

"And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it." Numbers 11:9

If we really think about it, there is something special about each new day The Lord gives us. It does not have to be our birthday or some other occasion to celebrate, but every day The Lord gives us is special. Every new day gives us opportunity to experience something new from The Lord. No matter what happened yesterday, today offers new mercy and grace from The Lord that we had not yet experienced. Each new day The Lord does something great in our lives even if we do not realize it. Every day The Lord rained manna down from Heaven that the children of Israel would have food to eat. Each day this manna was fresh and new, and there was no need to save any because on tomorrow He would give them fresh manna to eat again. The Scripture reminds us that when the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna fell on it as well. I encourage you today to not get caught up in looking at today in the same old way. Look at how The Lord is blessing you today, and how He is keeping you today. The Lord does not have any leftover blessings for you, all His blessings are fresh and new. While you are sleeping The Lord is preparing new mercy, joy, and peace for your life. While you are in slumber The Lord is showering down your blessings, and when you arise rather you realize it or not, The Lord has a host of new blessings for you. You may not be able to see or appreciate the blessings of today if you do not take time to look for them in a new way. That last breath you took was not from yesterday, it was new for today and that is a blessing. The food on your table, the clothes on your back, although you may have eaten or worn them before they are new for today, because The Lord gave them to you fresh for this day. I am grateful for new blessings The Lord places in my life every day. Just as He has rained down manna new every morning for the children of Israel, today He is raining new blessings on my life. Since I know I have new blessings from The Lord every day, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for the gift of today. This new day with new mercy and new grace is a blessing from you. Thank you for all the new things you are going to do in my life today. Just like you rained fresh manna on your people, I know you will rain fresh blessings on my life today and every day. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
