Mercy And Favor

“But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.” Genesis 39:21 (ESV)

Each of us has been in a situation we did not know how we got into it. One minute everything was going well, and the next we find ourselves in a mess. Joseph was in a similar situation, already experienced a rough life, finds himself in prison at no fault of his own. The Lord was with Joseph everywhere He went, and now prison was no exception. The Scripture reminds us, but the LORD was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. I encourage you today to remember no matter where you are The Lord is with you. It does not make a difference if you put yourself in the position or someone lied on you or anything else, you rest assure The Lord is with you. Not only was The Lord with Joseph, He showed him mercy in the midst of a bad situation. The Lord will show you His mercy as you are going through everyday life. The Lord gave Joseph favor, and he will give you favor in every situation you are in. When you are in a place and you feel like your back is against the wall, and you do not know how you are going to make it out, remember The Lord will give you His favor and mercy to make it through. I thank God that He is always with me, no matter where I am He shows me His mercy every day and gives me favor without measure. Since The Lord gives me His mercy and favor daily, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for your favor and mercy you have poured on my life. I know that I could never make it without you walking with me through it all. Thank you for your steadfast love towards me and for always being with me and blessing me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
