Lift Up Your Head
June 18, 2026
“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD.”
Psalm 27:6 (ESV)
No matter what we do in life we are going to have enemies. We are going to have those who for whatever reasons do not like us and are determined to see us fall and fail. When we have enemies who are constantly on the attack, it can weigh on us and cause us to become down and discouraged. We must remember The Lord is with us, no matter what our enemies try to do to us. The Scripture reminds us. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD. I encourage you today to not let the things you face have you walking around with your head down. Do not allow what people try to do to you or say about you cause you to walk around with your head down. You know that The Lord is always with you, so lift up your head in the face of your enemies and offer unto The Lord the sacrifices of joy. When they are talking about you, sing praises unto The Lord. When they are trying every trick in the book to make you fall, sing praises unto The Lord, and He will bring you through, stronger, wiser, and better. I will keep my head lifted in the presence of my enemies and will sing with joy praises unto The Lord my God. Since I will keep my head lifted, I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for reminding me not to allow anything to cause me to have my head down. You have been too good to me to be down. I will lift my head and walk in the victory you have given me. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus name Amen.
