Lift Him Up

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." John 12:32

Each of us has family members or friends that we would like to see give their lives to Christ. When talking to them about Church and giving their lives to Christ, they can give you a myriad of reasons why they do not like going to Church or their problem with people who claim to be Christians. They will point out the hypocrisy of some in the Church and people who do not treat each other with love and respect in Church. Some will even have a problem with the Pastor for one reason or another. As we are living our lives, we must make sure we do all we can to let them see the love of Christ in us in every situation. We will never be able to save them no matter how hard we try, because we did not save ourselves. It is essential that no matter where we are that we lift Jesus up and allow them to see Him and not us. The Scripture reminds us that, if Christ be lifted up from the earth, He will draw all men unto Him. I encourage you today to lift Jesus high today no matter where you are. If you are in the gym working out, lift Jesus up. If you are on your job lift Jesus up. Around family member, lift Jesus up so they can see Christ and not you. When you draw people's attention to how good you are you will ultimately end up showing them how flawed you really are. They will then be able to point out reason why you are not all you should be as well. When you lift Jesus up there is no doubt that they will not be able to see or fine one flaw in Christ. When trials come your way lift Jesus up, and when strong winds begin to blow in your life, lift Jesus up. As I travel life's road, I will lift up Jesus every step of the way, so that all people will be drawn to Him. Since I will always put Jesus first, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I just want to be a credible witness of your goodness, mercy, kindness, grace, and love so that others will see you and never me. Thank you for all the great things you have done in my life and for allowing me to testify of your greatness to others. As I lift you up let others be saved and come to know you in areal way. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
