Just Wait And See

“The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” Lamentations 3:25 (ESV)

We are living in a time when everything is quick fast and in a hurry. We spend our money at fast food restaurants because we do not want to wait for food to be cooked. We put more things in the microwave, than we do in the oven simply because it is quicker. We receive and pay bills online because we do not want to wait for them to come in the mail or go to the post office and buy a stamp. We do online banking, emails, and social networking, because it is faster than mailing a letter. It is in these times when waiting becomes more difficult simply because we are not accustomed to waiting. Some may even say why wait when you can get it right now, but we must also remember, good things come to those that wait. The Scripture reminds us that the LORD is good to them that wait for Him, and to the soul that will seek Him. I encourage you today to wait on The Lord. Things may not be happening as quickly as you want them to, and you are tempted to take matters into your own hands but wait on The Lord. The Lord has not forgotten about you, He will make ways for you. The Lord will keep you and hold you in the midnight hour. Wait on The Lord to open doors for you, and carve ways in the desert for you. The Lord is good to you when you wait and seek Him in all you do. Seek The Lord when things are good and not so good. Seek Him when you need direction and when you need comfort for your life. Seek Him every day for everything and know He will always be there for you. Trust The Lord, and wait on Him, and He will bring it all to pass. Waiting may not be fun, but I will wait on The Lord and trust Him to bring me through. I will seek Him not for some things but for everything in my life. Since I am waiting and seeking The Lord, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I am waiting on you. I know that you have great things in store for my life. Help me not to become impatient and to always remember that you always show up on time and everything will happen in your time. Prepare me while I wait so I can be ready to receive every blessing you have for me. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
