In His Time

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time" I Peter 5:6

One of the characteristics of being like Christ is humility. When look at the life of Christ we discover that in every situation, He was always humble. There were times He had to take a stand and be bold, but He never looked for the spotlight, He would allow others to have the spotlight. This is the way we who are Christians should be, allow those who want to have the stage to take the stage, because we know what The Lord is doing in our lives. We should never get upset when others get more attention or take credit for the things we do, let them have it because God has something greater in store for us. The Scripture reminds us to, humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. I encourage you today to remember to remain humble. When you humble yourself, the Scripture promises you that God will exalt you in His time. Do not look for others to lift you up when you do something, everything you do should be done in humility. There is not a person alive who can lift you up like God can. People will give you false accolades and tell you anything you want to hear for the moment, and tear you down the next minute, but only God can lift and keep you up. I thank God for everything He has done in my life, and I know I have not done any of it. If it had not been for God in my life I don't know where I would be right now, so I cannot and will not take any credit or glory for my life because it all belongs to God. I know in due time, in God's time He will exalt me, and this is why I am so sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for every way you have made and every door you have opened. Thank you Lord for keeping and blessing me along this journey of life. I take none of the credit or glory for all the great and wonderful things you have done are doing and will do I my life. I will humble myself in all I do and I know that in your time and in your way, you will exalt me. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
