Closer Than You Know

“That they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,” Acts 17:27 (ESV)
There are times when we are going through some things and we feel like we are all alone. Family and friends are not there for us and it even feels like God is not there for us. In our time of need it seems like everything and everyone gets quite including God. In these moments we must always remember that God never leaves us alone and although we may feel alone, God is right there with us. We can never take His silence for abandonment, because we know God is always with us. The Scripture reminds us, “that they should seek God, and perhaps feel there way towards him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us. I encourage you today that when you are feeling alone, to keep making your way to God. It may feel like He is so far away, but He is not, He is closer than you know. The Lord has promised that He would never leave or forsake you, so you hold on to his promise of His presence in your life, and keep moving towards Him knowing He is always with you. The Lord is never too hard to find, keep seeking Him and you will find Him. No matter what is going on in my life, and no matter who is there or not there, I always know that God is never too far away from me. Since I will always make my way To God, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for always being close to me. Even when it feels like I am alone, I know you are there with me and for me. Help me to not allow the silence to keep me from seeking you every day and in every situation. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
