Be Immovable
June 15, 2026
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)
As we go through life there are many things which can come against us to knock us off course and attempt to knock us down. Life is full of ups and downs and ins and outs. There are storms we can predict, and others come out of nowhere. There are sunny days and rainy days, and days when we feel like everything is coming against us at once. It is in those times in life we must remember we have The Lord on our side, and we do not have to let those things sway us. The Scripture reminds us to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. I encourage you today not to let the things that try to come against you move or shake you when they come. You know The Lord is with you every step of every day, and you cannot allow the things move you. Be steadfast in your service of The Lord, be steadfast in your worship and in your praise. Be steadfast in the things The Lord has called you to do, and remember if The Lord has brought you there it will be alright. Be immoveable when the storms come your way and always abound in the work of The Lord. Remember when you are working for The Lord, your labor is not in vain. The Lord will bless and keep you when you are doing His will. Storms will come and things will happen, but do not allow them to move you from where God has placed you. Come what will and come what may I will be steadfast and immoveable always abounding in the work of The Lord. Knowing my work for Him is never in vain, and this is why I can confidently say, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for leading and guiding me all the days of my life. Help me to be steadfast, immovable and always abounding in the work you have called me to do. I know you are on my side and I will not let the storms shake or break me because you are always with me. Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
