Alpha And Omega
August 21, 2026
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelations 1:8 (ESV)
It is difficult to enjoy a movie or show when we have not watched it from the beginning. It makes us wonder what happened before to cause things to be happening now, and we lost watching it closer to the end. It is also difficult to see something from the start and have to leave before it ends, and it leaves us wondering what happened. Life has a way of making us wonder what happened in certain times and places to have us to be where we are now. It is good to know we have The Lord on our side and He know the beginning and the end because He is the beginning and the end. The Scripture reminds us, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” I encourage you today not to worry about the beginning or the end, but to remember God is Alpha and Omega. God knows the beginning of everything, and He will direct you and lead you to the places in life He has for you, because He also knows the end. Not only does He know the beginning and the end, He also knows what’s in between. Trust God to navigate your life through trials and circumstances that seem out of the ordinary. Remember, since God is, was, and will soon come, there is not one aspect of your life He does not already know about. Life may be difficult, and you may try to figure out what is going on, but remember God is with you, and He is, was, and will soon come. I am thankful to have God in my life who is the beginning and the end of all things, and He knows what is in store for me, and I trust Him to lead me and guide me thought it all. Since God is, God was, and God will come, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for being an all-knowing God. There is not one thing that you do not know from long ago in the past to this present time and even far in the future, because you are the beginning and the end. All my trust is in you Lord and I know that you will help me navigate every aspect of my life because you already know the great and wonderful things you have in store for my life. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
