Get Back Up Again

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
No matter how much of a perfectionist someone may claim to be, each of us make mistakes. We are going to make mistakes, and we are going to have some mishaps along the way. As we travel on the road of life we are going to have some hiccups and some mess ups to remind ourselves that we are not perfect. Anyone who seeks perfection in any area of their lives will soon discover that the road to perfection is littered with mistakes, and once perfection is reached it only last for a fleeting moment until the next mistake shows up. In our walk as Christians, we too are going to make mistakes and daily we are going to sin, but we cannot allow our mistakes and sin to keep us from getting up and striving for perfection in God. The Scripture reminds us that, all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. I encourage you today to remember that even when you fall short of God's glory, you serve a forgiving God. Every day you are going to fall short of God's glory, but that does not give you license to fall for the same thing and the same way every day. You must realize that you will fall short of His glory, but you also walk in His forgiveness and grace. You are not perfect, but each day you should strive for perfection in God, and remember that when you fall, God is right there to pick you up. When you fall short, ask for God's forgiveness and get back up and walk towards His glory once again. Every day I fall short of His glory, and although I fall short, I will get back up and try again knowing that I am forgiven by God. Since I know I fall short of God’s glory daily, I also know I serve a forging God this is why I am sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, forgive me of all my sin and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Every day I fall short of your glory, but every day I want to get closer to who you have made me to be. Help me every day to walk in your will for my life and the path that you have for me. Thank you for giving me another chance every day. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
