You Have A Part To Play
"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." 1 Corinthians 3:6
In every team sport each of the teams members has a part to play. In some sports some play defense and others play offense. Then there are those on the team who do not start, but play a vital role by coming off of the bench, and being a substitute when necessary. When teams play together they do well, and they usually end up winning because they are playing well together.
“You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18 (ESV)
There are some people who have better memories than others. They can sit down and tell of stories of events that happened years ago like they were yesterday, and others had forgotten all about them. Then there are those of us who have to write everything down, because if we do not we will forget what it is that we are supposed to be doing.
Seek And Call
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isaiah 55:6

“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” Proverbs 13:12 (ESV)
