Alone Time With God

"For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day." Exodus 32:29

Each of us want to experience the rich blessings of The Lord in and in for our lives.  If we had a choice of being blessed or not we would most certainly chose to be blessed.  Being blessed is knowing that God has shined His favor on our lives in a unique way where it can only be God who caused it to happen.  There are times in our lives where we can point out the blessings of God operating in our lives.

Blessed To Give

"I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35

There is no doubt that The Lord has done some extraordinary things in our lives.  He has been by our side walking with us every day of our lives.  The Lord has poured more blessings in our lives than we can even begin to count, and if we were truly honest with ourselves many of those blessings we did not even deserve, but He has blessed us any way.

Greater Is Coming

"Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." Job 8:7

It is important for us to remember it is not where we start that makes the biggest difference, but it is where we end up that counts the most.  If we all had a choice to start at the top or at the bottom, many of us would choose to start at the top, because it looks more prestigious, and it just seems to make more sense to start at the top.

Focus On Today

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34 (NIV)

Each of us has things that concern us because they are important to us.  If we are not careful we can spend countless hours worrying about things that have not even happened yet.  We pay a bill then worry about how we are going to pay it again next month.

Visible Faith

"And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee." Luke 5:20

Some of us will put our faith in things and in people who we should not put our faith in.  Some will put their trust in finances and in houses, and cars, and when those fail them they lose faith in almost everything else.  Some will put their faith in people who are there for them when everything are going well, but when the tough times come they cannot be found and as a result they lose faith in all people.

God's Will

“For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.” 1 Peter 2:15 (ESV)

As Christians it should always be our desire to do the will of God.  In doing the will of God for our lives is when we will discover how blessed we truly are.  In doing God’s will it may not be the way we would do things, but we are submitting ourselves to the desire of God for our lives, because we want what He wants for our lives.

Strength To Endure

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” Ephesians 3:16

Our bodies are made of many different parts, and each of those parts requires something for them to remain strong and healthy.  We must do the necessary exercise and work to keep our mental strength, and there are a variety of different exercises that are done to keep our physical strength.

A Powerful Shield

“But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” Psalm 3:3 (ESV)

Life has a way at coming at us fast, and before we know it we are in the midst of something that we do not even remember how we got into it.  When we are bombarded with things it feels like we are being loaded with weight that is almost impossible to carry.
