Praise The Lord
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6 (ESV)
Praise is always in order. There is not a time in our lives that we should not praise God. There is not a situation or a circumstance where we cannot praise The Lord even when it does not look like things are working out in our favor. Praising The Lord should never be situational, because The Lord has been good to us and He is worthy of our praise. We should be able to praise The Lord when things are going well and when things are falling apart around us.
Called And Chosen
"For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14
Growing up each of us has played a game where we were on teams, and in order to be on that team we had to be chosen by the captain. When the choosing process began everyone wanted to be chosen, but no one wanted to get chosen last, because it meant that you really were not that good.
Soaring On Eagle’s Wings
“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself." Exodus 19:4
There is never a time when The Lord leaves us by ourselves. We may feel like we are alone because of what we are going through, and although those around us do not understand what we are going through, we are never alone. There are some things we go through and we cannot even begin to articulate to those who are close to us exactly what it is we are facing.
"Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee." Psalm 118:28
It is such a blessing to have God like our God. There are other people and things that may try to set themselves up as a god, but there is not another god like our God. The God we serve is awesome, and is doing wonderful things in our lives. The God we serve has kept us through difficult times in our lives, and has given us the sunshine after the rain. The God we serve has made ways out of no way, and has performed miracles in our lives.
