"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation." Psalm 68:19

Each and every day we should give God thanks and praise for the great things He is doing in our lives.  We should from the time we rise in the morning until we lay our heads down again at night, give God some praise and thanks for how He takes care of us daily.

Don't Be Afraid

"And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;" Deuteronomy 20:3

There are going to be times when we are going to have to face an unexpected enemy, and out of nowhere we will find ourselves in a battle we did not expect.  Then there are going to be times when we know we are in a fight and who our enemy is, and no matter how much we try to get along our enemy they will push us to a point that we will have to fight.

The Lord Leads And Guides

"And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not." Isaiah 58:11

As Christians it is important for us to follow The Lord in everything we do. It is easy at times to get caught up in following the wrong crowd or the wrong people and we find ourselves doing things we would not normally do just to be accepted by others.

The Lamp And Light

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105

There is nothing that can penetrate darkness but light.  It doesn't make a difference how dark a room gets the only thing one must do to change the situation is to introduce light to the darkness.

Faith Over Fear

"And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?" Mark 4:40

There are times when we go through situations in our lives and not really knowing how they will work out, and because of the unknown we become afraid. Fear is something that can make us abandon everything we know is right to do. When one is afraid they will do whatever they think they need to do to get out of the situation they are in.

Best Friend

"Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." John 15:15

It is such a wonderful thing to have friends.  When we have true friends we know we can count on them through thick and through thin.  A true friend will be there for us no matter what happens or what is going on in our life.  When we have that one true friend they really become like part of our family, and we know in a tight situation we can call them and they will be right there for us.

Be Holy

"Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16

As Christians there should be something different about us, something distinct that others would notice and want to know what it is we have that their life is missing.  This does not mean we should look down on others, and act like we are better than anyone else simply because God has chosen to give us the gift of salvation.

Another Chance

"And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him." Luke 15:20

There are times in life we all would like to have a second chance at something.  When we look back over our lives and some of the situations we have been in, and in looking back we now know we could of handled a situation better than we did, and we wish we had a another chance to get it right. Fortunately or unfortunately life does not always give us another chance to make things right.

Never Leaves You

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10 (ESV)

Some of the friendships and relationships that we have are transient in nature and do not last forever.  There are some relationships that we are in that have lasted the test of time, but they have not lasted our entire lives.  The only relationship that has been steady for our entire lives is The Lord’s relationship with us.
