“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8
When we begin to think about how good The Lord has been to us we are in awe of His graciousness to us. It is out of this awesomeness of God that we want to praise Him in a variety of ways. There are many different ways that we can praise The Lord, and there are many different expressions that we use to give Him the glory.
Precepts For Life
"I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life." Psalm 119:93 (ESV)
There are some things that we will never forget. We will not forget those special days in our lives like weddings, the births of babies, special vacations, and a myriad of other events. We also should never forget the day we gave our lives to The Lord. Our day of salvation should be a day that we have etched on our hearts and there is nothing that can erase it from our memory.
Anointed For This
“saying, “Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!” 1 Chronicles 16:22 (ESV)
It is a blessing to be anointed by God to do anything in His Kingdom. When God anoints us it is for His service, and to do the things that He has called us to do. The anointing that God has on our lives is not like the anointing that He has on anyone else’s life, and it is imperative for us to walk in our own anointing.
Better Is Coming
“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11 (ESV)
It is not easy to go through trials and tribulations in life. It is when we are going through our trials and tribulations that we can feel like we are going through them all alone, and it can feel like The Lord is abandoning us.
