Take Time To Listen To The Lord
When we go to God in prayer we want God to listen to our prayers, and we have a reasonable expectation that He is listening to us when we pray to Him. We know God hears us when we pray because He has answered our prayers before, and as we pray to Him daily we have faith that He will answer our prayers again. Prayer is our communication with God and this communication should not be a one-way conversation, but we must also allow God to speak to us in our prayer time.
The Scripture reminds us to, listen to The Lord, we that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of people, neither be afraid of their reviling’s. I encourage you today to listen to The Lord, and not be afraid of what you may hear or even see. Know that The Lord is with you each day and in each situation that you may face, as long as you have His righteousness in your life and His law in your heart, let people do and say whatever they want to, because you know God is on your side. What people say should not bother you or concern you, because you know that The Lord is listening to you and He is always with you.
Put all of your trust in The Lord, and hear Him when He says to you not to fear them or even concern yourself with what people say or do. Instead concentrate on what The Lord is saying for your life, and know He will make a way for you as He always has. Do not listen to naysayers who do not believe that The Lord will do what He said He would do in your life, but keep your ears attuned to God and walk in His way for your life. Each day I strive to be in right relationship with God, and because I do listen to Him and the direction He has for my life, I cannot worry about what people do or say, because they do not hold my future, God does.
Since I am listening to Him diligently I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Open my ears to hear your voice more clearly. Guide me down the paths of life that you have for me, and grant me your peace, favor, and grace as I journey these paths of life. In Jesus Name Amen.
