There will come a time in our lives that we are going to need some help. It is in those times that family members will be able to help us, and there will be other times when friends will come through and help us. There will also be times when we are going to feel like there is no one there to help us. When we are feeling like the weight of the world is on our shoulders alone and we cannot go to people who seem stronger than us for help, because they may not be able to help us, but we must always go first to The Lord.
The Scripture reminds us that, woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek The Lord! I encourage you today not to go to anyone else looking for the help that you may need, because you can find all of your help in The Lord. People may have things that you do not have, and they may seem stronger than you, but everyone has a struggle and everyone needs help every now and then. No one made it to where they are on by themselves, and you did not make it to where you are on your own, but The Lord has been with you every step of the way. There is no need to trust in the strength of anyone, because the God you serve is mightier and stronger than anything else you know.
When trials and tribulations come your way, look to The Lord for your help. When the storms of life are raging, look to The Lord for your help. When your friends are few, and family is nowhere to be found, find your help in The Lord, for He has all that you will ever need to make it through all that you will ever go through. People may have some power, but I will continue to go The Lord who has all power in His hands.
Since all of my trust in in The Lord I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord you are all the help that I need. In Jesus Name Amen.
