Prepared For Great Things
When silver is new it is shiny and looks like glass. It is beautiful and many people wear silver because of its beauty and luster. However, silver has to go through process to have its beauty and shine. Silver has to go through the refining fire so that the silver smith can get out all of the dross or impurities that are found in the silver, and at times this can be a long process, but in the end it is worth it to the smith and to the person who will benefit from the process. We also are like unrefined silver to The Lord. We must go through the process in order to get out the impurities in our lives.
The Scripture reminds us that, when you take away the dross from silver, the smith has material for a vessel. I encourage you today to allow God to take the dross out of your life. When God takes the impurities out of your life then He has a vessel He can now work with. When you take some time to allow God to put you in the fire, so all of the impurities can fall off of you, and then you will be a vessel that can stand through the storms, test, and trials of life. It is not easy to be refined by God, but it is worth it so that once God puts you through the process He can use you for His glory.
It may be difficult what you are going through now, but do not forget that God has a plan for your life, and He needs you to be a vessel He can work with, but first He has to take away the dross of your life. I want to always be used by God, so Lord take away all of the dross off of me so I can be a vessel you can use for your glory.
Since I am willing to go through the process to be used by God I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Keep me O Lord while I am in the fire, and reminded me that you are just preparing me for the great things that you have for me. In Jesus Name Amen.
