Accept Divine Guidance
When we were children and youth we thought that we knew everything and our parents did not know anything because they were simply old fashion and not really attuned to the things of current times. We listened to what they said, but we did not believe that they understood what we were going through. It was only when we were in trouble or found ourselves in a situation that we should not have been in that we then decided that we should have listened to our parents. There are times when we find ourselves in spiritual dilemmas because we do not listen to The Lord and we do not accept His guidance because we think we know what we are doing. It is in those moments of distress that we then call on The Lord and remind ourselves that we should have listened to Him in the first place.
The Scripture reminds us that, when people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful. I encourage you today to follow the path that The Lord has established for you. It may not make sense to you right now, but your obedience to God will lead you to the places that He has for you. You do not know what God knows. You do not know what is in front of you, but God knows what is in your future and when you allow Him to direct your path He will lead you safely to the other side and give you joy. It is not always easy navigating the paths of life, but I am grateful that The Lord is with me leading and guiding me all of the way, and although I do not always follow Him in the beginning I trust the direction that He is taking my life.
Since I am determined to experience all of the joy that The Lord has for me, and I accept His divine guidance for my life I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Order my steps in your word Lord lead and guide me to the places that you have for me, because I want your joy to be full in my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
