Lord Have Mercy
There have been times in each of our lives that we came to a point where it felt like we could never catch a break. We were in the midst of one thing after another, one storm after another, and it felt like we were in a constant state of trial and tribulation. It is in those moments that we had to pause and simply ask God to have mercy on us and stop the storms and the trouble from coming our way.
The Scripture reminds us that the psalmist prayed, have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have had more than enough contempt. I encourage you today that no matter what it is that you may be going through to pause and ask The Lord to have mercy upon you. When the weight of the world that is on your shoulders becomes too much to bear, ask The Lord to have mercy upon you. When the storms of life are blowing so fierce that you are not able to stand, ask The Lord to have mercy upon you.
When friends and family are nowhere to be found, ask The Lord to have mercy upon you. When you ask The Lord for mercy He will give you mercy and calm the storms of your life. When you realize that what you are going through is too much for you to handle, there is nothing wrong with asking The Lord to have mercy upon you, and when asking in faith He will give you mercy. I am grateful that I can go to The Lord and ask Him for mercy and I know that He will give it to me.
Since I can go to The Lord and ask for His mercy on every situation in my life I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
I have had more than enough contempt, trouble, trials, tribulations, and storms, Lord please grant to me your mercy so I can continue to do your will. In Jesus Name Amen.
