Faith And Works

As we know it is essential for us as believers in Christ to have faith.  Faith is the foundation of who we are as Christians.  Without faith we could not be true followers and disciples of Christ.  It is our faith that keeps us from day to day, and it is that same faith that gives us the hope we have for eternal life with Christ.  We cannot merely say we have faith; faith is something that we must put into action every day.  Conversely we cannot just do work for the Kingdom and not have faith, we need both faith and the corresponding work to go with it.

The Scripture reminds us, because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works.  They have stumbled over the stumbling stone.  I encourage you today to not go about stumbling because you are trying to obtain anything from The Lord by works alone.  Works alone do not yield the fruit that comes from working from a place of faith. When you are just working to work and have no faith you will find yourself stumbling all over the place and never achieving the things that you are attempting, because there is no faith coupled with your works.  Faith without works is dead, and works without faith is futile, but when faith and works are hand in hand there is nothing that you cannot accomplish.  Put your faith to work today in all that you do, and know that The Lord sees your faith and works and will give you good success when you trust Him to see you through. I will be able to achieve great things through my faith and works, and with The Lord on my side.

Since I am showing my faith by my works I am confident, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord let my faith and my work for your Kingdom bring you glory.  In Jesus Name Amen.
