Each of us at one time in our lives has been in a place where we were craving a particular thing to eat or drink. It did not matter what else we had, it would not satisfy us, and we were not going to be satisfied until we had what we had a taste for. Once we had what we were craving it was only then we were satisfied. In our walk with The Lord we should have a craving for Him that no matter what else we may get it will not satisfy us.
The Scripture reminds us, stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirst after thee, as a thirsty land. I encourage you today that no matter what you are going through in life, to stretch your hands to The Lord. It does not make a difference how big or how small the problem is, stretch your hands unto The Lord. It does not make a difference how low you may feel you are, you can still stretch your hands unto The Lord, and He will lift you up. You should be thirsty for The Lord not just when trouble comes your way, but you should be thirsty for The Lord every day of your life. When you are thirsty it does not make a difference where you are, you have to satisfy your thirst, and just like you are thirsty for things in life, you should not allow anything else in the world to try to satisfy your thirst. Never stop going after The Lord, for He never stopped going after you.
Stretch your hands unto Him, and He will pick you up from wherever you are. I thirst for The Lord every day, and there is not a time when I am not thirsty for Him. I will stretch my hands unto Him, and I know He will lift me up.
Since I am stretching my hands to Him, and thirsting for Him daily, and daily He satisfies my thirst for Him I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord continue to satisfy my thirst. As I stretch my hands to you lift me up and help me stand and face those things that only you can deliver me from. In Jesus Name Amen.
