For many of us our faith is the bedrock of who we are as Christians. We live and walk by faith on a daily basis. Our faith is what keeps and guides us through many situations that we face in our lives. No matter how strong our faith is there are times when we struggle with our faith because of some situations that we are facing.
The Scripture reminds us of a father who brought his son to the disciples to be healed and they could not heal him. The father then brought his son to Jesus who told the father that all things were possible for those who believe. The father replied to Jesus, I believe; help my unbelief. I encourage you today that no matter how strong your faith may be, to ask The Lord to help your unbelief. Those areas of faith that you struggle with, ask The Lord to help your unbelief. Those things that you try to do on your own because you do not think that The Lord cares, ask Him to help your unbelief. Having those momentary lapses of faith does not mean you have lost faith, it just means in that in that moment you needed The Lord to help you in that area of unbelief. This father’s son was healed because he checked on his faith in The Lord. Do not be ashamed to check your faith in all situations that you are faced with, and when your faith becomes a little weak, ask The Lord to help your unbelief. In those times of my life when my faith is weak, Lord help my unbelief.
Since I know God will strengthen my faith I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I believe, help my unbelief. In Jesus Name Amen.
