Give Your Very Best
If we took the time to think about all of the great and wonderful things that The Lord has done for us, we will quickly see that we are extremely blessed. Many of the things that The Lord has blessed us with are invaluable to us, and we would not trade them for the world. In realizing how blessed we are and how many great things The Lord has given to us, the question is, are we willing to give the most precious things we have back to Him?
The Scripture reminds us that, there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. I encourage you today to be determined to give The Lord your very best. This women did not care what anyone thought of her, she did not care about what this precious and expensive ointment cost, she wanted to give The Lord her very best.
You also should have the mindset of this woman to give The Lord your very best no matter what it may have cost you. The price of your gift to The Lord should never be an issue, because the price that He has paid for your salvation was the ultimate price, because He paid with His blood and His life for you. Give God your very best because He loves you, and has given you His very best. I am thankful for the gift of salvation that The Lord has given to me, and I will do my best to give Him my very best.
Since I know the price that God has paid for my life I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My thing From My God!”
Thank you Lord for giving me your very best in sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for me, and all that I have in my alabaster box I break it open and give it all to you. In Jesus Name Amen.
