Don’t Stay Down
Each of us is going to have our good and bad days as we go through life. If we are not careful it can seem that are bad days are more significant than our good days. The truth of the matter is no storm last forever, and after every rainfall the sun shines again. It also seems that it is in our times of going through some things that people abandon us and give up on us and act like we are never going to make it. It is in those moments that God steps in and does miracles in our lives.
The Scripture reminds us, rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. I encourage you today not to allow a temporary situation to keep you down. Do not allow the outlook of an enemy on your present situation to have you believe you will always be down. Remind your enemies and yourself that when you fall, you will rise again, and when you sit in darkness The Lord will be a light to you. When you fall and do not have the strength to get back up again, remind yourself that The Lord is right there to pick you up, and give you a brand new start.
This is not the first time you fell, and The Lord picked you up before and He will pick you up now. Even in your darkest of days and nights The Lord has always been a light to you, and He will continue to light your way. The Lord continues to pick me up when I fall and He continues to be my light and my life, and I am grateful.
Since I know that The Lord will continue to pick me up and give me light in dark places I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord when I fall continue to pick me up, and when my day is dark be the light to my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
