Before God was so gracious to give us salvation we were enemies with God, because we did not acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. Our sin kept us separated from God and did not allow us to come near to Him, but even while we were sinners, God still loved us. It was while we were serving the enemy that we were reconciled to God, and became a part of His family, because of our belief in Jesus Christ.
The Scripture reminds us that, for if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. I encourage you today to be thankful for being saved. Be thankful that you are no longer and enemy of God, but you are now counted as one of His son’s or daughters in Christ. It is by the death of Christ that you have been engrafted into His family.
Since you are reconciled to God by the death of Christ, you are now eligible for all the blessings that God has prepared for those whom He loves and cares about. Walk in the blessings of God today and know that you are saved by the grace and love of Christ Jesus. I am grateful that I am no longer an enemy, but reconciled to God through my faith in Christ Jesus, and since I am reconciled I am a son of God and I am thankful.
Since I am a son through my confession and belief in Christ I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord thank you for reconciling me back to you, through Jesus Christ. Thank you for counting me a part of your family. In Jesus Name Amen.
