Look For The Exit
It does not make a difference how long we have been saved or how long we have been a member of a Church, or even what position we may hold in the Church, each of us has been tempted. There are times when we are strong enough to fight off the temptation, and then there are times when we do not try to fight it or are too weak to fight it. No matter how strong the temptation we may be facing, God always gives us a way out so we do not have to fall into temptation.
The Scripture reminds us that, no temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. I encourage you today that when you are tempted to look for the way of escape that God is providing for you. There is not temptation so great that you cannot overcome it.
There are times when you will not want to fight or run from the temptation, but before you fall into it, look for the exit that God is providing for you. God will never put more on you than you can handle, and He will never put you in a situation that He will not lead you out of. As you go throughout this day, stand strong on the Word of God and know that when temptation shows up there is a way of escape for you. God will never put more on me than I can handle, so when temptation gets too much for me, I will look for that way of escape.
Since I know that God is with me always and provides for me a perfect exit every time I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord thank you for never putting more on me than I can handle, and thank you for providing me with and exit when temptation tries to get me to fall. In Jesus Name Amen.
