Seek God First
As we have begun a New Year many of us have made some choices for our lives to make some lifestyle changes. With just a few days into the New Year it is easy if we are not careful to revert back to doing some of the same things that we have always done. It is imperative to continue to look to God for the direction that He wants our lives to go. We cannot allow our flesh to direct our paths; we must allow God to direct us in every way. The Scripture reminds us to, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
I encourage you today to spend some time seeking God first for the direction that He wants to take you. God knows what you want and need in your life and wants you to achieve all that He has purposed for your life, and in order for your desires to come to pass, you will have to seek God for His desire for your life first. When you seek first for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness you are not concerned about anything else but doing the will of God for your life.
When you seek His Kingdom first all the other things that are on your heart will be added to you. Seek God first by faith and God will add blessings to your life. I will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness for my life, and I know when I seek Him first all these other blessings will be added unto my life.
Since I am seeking God first and often I am sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I seek your face and your will for my life this day and for all the days of my life. I know you know the desires of my heart and I know as I seek you daily all those things will be added unto me. In Jesus Name Amen.
