There are many foods that are good for us, and there are many foods that are not healthy for us at all, and it tends to be that the foods that are not healthy for us that are the ones we like the most. Fruits and vegetables are the best for us and many of us will tolerate them, but if we had our choice we would have more deserts then we would the healthy choices. For some this New Year brings a new determination to be healthy and eat healthy. That same determination to be physically healthy also needs to translate to our spiritual health as well.
There is a spiritual fruit that we should always have in our spiritual diet, and that is the fruit of the Spirit. The Scripture reminds us that, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” against such things there is no law. I encourage you to make sure you have your spiritual fruit on a daily basis. This Spiritual fruit is not a buffet of assorted choices for you to make, but this fruit is singular and it packed with all of the spiritual supplements that you will need to make it through your daily activities.
You Spiritual fruit is packed with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As you go through your day you are going to need these key spiritual blessings to lead and guide you so you can be all that God wants you to be on a daily basis. Every day I am going to make sure I partake of my Spiritual fruit that will give me the Spiritual nourishment that I need to stay physically and Spiritually healthy in this New Year.
Since I am eating my fruit daily I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord let me be nourished by your fruit for my life every day. In Jesus Name Amen.
