God Makes All Things New
A New Year ushers in new opportunities all around us. It is in a New Year where we can operate with a clean slate and make a concerted effort to do things in a different way. Some of the decisions that we make in a New Year are going be grounded in the direction that we want our lives to go. For some of us we have determined that this year is going to be different and better for us, and we realize that we cannot wait for anyone or anything to change it for us, we have to make that change for ourselves with the help of God.
When we are committed to be connected to God, He will order our steps and stops that the new things that He wants to do in our lives will be done the way He wants them to be done. The Scripture reminds us that, He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” I encourage you today to stand on the Word of God for your life in this New Year.
God is making all things new for you, and that means that some things are going to have to change in order for God to usher in new things for you. Change is not an easy proposition, but change is necessary and worth the process to be more like God. In this New Year I am going to be more like God, and I know that the changes He wants to do in my life will not all be easy, but they will all be worth the journey.
Since I am confident that God is making all things new in my life I have no doubt that 2019, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I know that you are making all things new, and that includes me. Help me to make every change you need me to make, so I can be more like you. Have your way in my life. In Jesus Name Amen.
