Filled With Joy and Peace
As we begin another week for many of us our calendars are full with things that we have to do. As we gear up to fulfill all of the things on our schedule we realize that some of those things are things we do not want to do, or are things that we know have the potential of being stressful. It is imperative that before we begin to do those things that we look to The Lord and ask Him to give us His peace through this week. The Scripture reminds us that, the God of hope will fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit we may abound in hope. I encourage you today to bask in the joy, peace, and hope of God. Allow His peace to lead and guide you as you go about doing those things this week that need to be done. As stress levels rise, look to the God of peace and hope to give you what you need that you will not allow people or things to eradicate your peace. May the God of hope continue to fill you this week with all that you need to overcome all that you face. May the God of joy give you more joy than you could have imagined, His joy even in difficult situations. May the God of peace, give you peace that cannot be shaken because of situations, but flourishes in the face of adversity. May the power of the Holy Spirit lead and guide you in His paths, and may you find all that you need in Him. As I go throughout this week I am determined to walk in the joy, peace, hope and power of God that I will be able to overcome those things that may come against me, and have God’s peace in the process. Since I am being saturated with the Holy Spirit, joy, peace, hope, and love from God I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord thank you for your precious Holy Spirit that resides in me, and thank you for filling me with your joy, peace, hope, and love. In Jesus Name Amen.
