Count It All Joy

When we think of things that bring us joy, we remember events in our lives that were happy occasions.  We remember the milestone birthday celebrations; we remember the events with our families that brought us so much joy.  Rarely when we think about joy do we think about when we fell into the temptations that came our way, or some negative thing that has happened in our life.

However, there are times when we should count those occasions as joy also.  The Scripture reminds us to, count it all joy when we fall into divers temptations.  I encourage you today to look back over your life and begin to count it all joy when you fell into different temptations.  Count it all joy because when you fell The Lord was right there to pick you up.  When you fell The Lord did not leave you down, or leave you to flounder where you fell, but He was there for you to see you through your fall.  It is only after your fall that you were able to see how great God truly is, and learn the lessons of never going that way again.

There are some lessons that you learn not only by someone telling you not to do it, but you learn some of the greatest lessons from making the mistake, and then never repeating it again.    It is not joyful to fall, but you can count it joy when you fall, because you will not stay down, because you have God on your side.

There are times when God allows you to fall, so you can rely on Him and not yourself. God will not always keep you from falling, but He will keep you when you fall. So no matter what you are facing, or how far you may have fallen, count it all joy because God is there with you. I am so grateful that when I fall God is there for me, and I know He will not let me fall too far or too hard.

Since I can count all things joy because of God on my side I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer

Lord I count it all joy that no matter where I may be in my life, you are always there to catch me when I fall. In Jesus name Amen.
