Chosen By God
Have you ever seen a movie or a television show where children were choosing sides to see who would be on what team in the game they were about to play, and there would always be one child nobody wanted to pick, and how bad it would make the child feel. Life sometimes comes at us the same way, we see others getting blessed and others lives doing well, and we are struggling and wondering if God has forgotten all about us.
We find ourselves wondering why God has chosen everyone else to bless but us, and we begin to feel just like the child who was picked last. I encourage you today to remember God has not forgotten about you, He is still working things out for you. It may seem like God has forgotten about you, but you must remember God still chose you to be on His side, and if you are on God's side you are on the winning side.
God has said you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood a holy nation, God has proclaimed you to be all of this, and when you are royalty things are different in your life you have access to things others do not have. You are a peculiar to God meaning you are not like everyone else, nor does God want you to be like everyone else. God has made you special and He has great things planned for your life. Just like the child who was chosen last on the team He is the one who usually hits the winning home run, or the one who makes the winning shot for the team. So it doesn't make a difference what people think you can or cannot do, just know God is working in you, and you are chosen to be on His team.
I thank God He chose me and has made me a peculiar person, so the only person I have to conform to is Him. Since God chose me from the foundation of the world I know, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Lord I thank you for choosing me to be one of your children, and thank you for always keeping and blessing me. In Jesus name Amen.
