Daily Fruit Intake
As we are living in a nation that is becoming increasingly more health conscious, more people are being careful about what they are eating. In the midst of this increased awareness on health, many more people are turning down snacks that are not good for them and turning to fruit. Fruit is can be one of the healthiest things that we can consume, if we are eating the right fruits, because just like anything else too much of one thing may not be good for us. As we are building a better physical life, we also must concentrate on a better spiritual life as well. In preparing for a better spiritual life we should add the fruit of the Spirit to our daily diet.
The Scripture reminds us that, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. I encourage you today to indulge in the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is not nine different pieces, but it is one fruit and when added to our daily spiritual diet we will discover that we will be more spiritual healthy than ever before.
We must walk daily in love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, and in temperance. It is these elements of the fruit of the Spirit that will carry us through any day, no matter what it we are facing. There will be occasions today when you will have to walk in love, and then there will be times when something will try to steal your peace, but because you have the fruit of the Spirit you peace will remain strong.
Before you start your day, take your daily dose of the fruit of the Spirit, as it will help you throughout your day. Every day I will remember to take the fruit of the Spirit with me knowing that it is more than enough to help me throughout my day. Since I am walking in the fruit of the Spirit daily I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord allow your love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance to guide me through this day. In Jesus name Amen.
