Rain In Due Season
For some rain can be an inconvenience because plans have been made and now that it is raining those plans can no longer happen because of the rain. Yet for others rain is a welcomed sight, as they love to hear the sound of rain on the windowpanes of their respective abodes. Rather we like rain or do not care for the rain, we must realize that God sends rain, and it is a necessary element to our lives. It is rain that gives us the water that we drink that we may stay hydrated and alive. It is the rain that waters the earth that we may have food to eat.
Rain is a blessing from God that sometimes we overlook as an inconvenience in our lives. The Scripture reminds us that, God will give us the rain of our land in His due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that we may gather our corn, and our wine, and our oil. I encourage you today to thank God for the rain in His due season. While the rain may not come at an opportune time for you, it is right on time for God. You may not be able to see the immediate benefits of the rain now, but in harvest season you will thank God for the rain.
The rain that is falling in your life today, is preparing a blessing to spring up in your life in the future. God has promised you that He would give you His rain in due season so you would be blessed. I am grateful for the rain that God sends in my life, and although there are some times that I do not like the rain, I have learned to be thankful and appreciate the rain that God has sent, because is causes blessings to grow in my life. Since I am grateful for the rain that God sends me in His due season I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I thank you for the rain that you have sent in your due season, and I know that it will cause blessings to grow in my life. In Jesus name Amen.
